How to access Shitposting subforum?

Can someone please explain to me how to view the Shitposting subforum?

I've been lurking on this site nearly since its inception, including following the "Something Rippened" thread.

Yesterday, my bookmark to that thread stopped working. Instead, I landed on a page saying "You are not authorised to read this forum." So I created an account and logged in. I then selected membership in the Shitposters Anonymous group, which finally did the trick and I had access to the thread.

Today, I'm back to square one. I'm logged in (obviously) but cannot access that thread or subforum. When using my bookmark to the thread, I receive the message, "You are not authorised to read this forum." When viewing the Board Index I don't see the Shitposting subforum at all.

I tried re-joining the Shitposters Anonymous group, but received this message: "You are already a member of the selected group."

All of this makes me feel old and stupid.

Yeah, pretty much the same story here as 'asdf' explained. Been a long-time lurker and finally decided to join up. Lotta big brains with lotsa experience. Can't help but become a better lifter. I've never posted...so if that's your rule, I'm good with it. I'll get there eventually...only really post stuff if I feel I am smart/experienced enough to add something relevant.

Changed default group to Shitposters Anonymous. Still no luck.

Switched to a new browser to ensure cache wasn't an issue. Still no luck.

Please let me know if there's anything else I need to try on my end. Thanks for your help.

Same story here. I registered so I could read the Rip thread. I've had some concerns about what I'm reading at SS and I like reading that thread because it is nice to know I'm not the only one. If you are willing to allow me into that forum, I would appreciate it. Thanks, Dean

I like that by resigning from the shitposting member list, my "unread posts" doesn't show the shitposts. I'm happier not seeing that stuff.

I looked in the "Welcome, friends!" thread under Forum Information > Rules & Such > Announcements. Nothing there.

I put a sticky in this forum.

We are going to drop the post requirement to 10. 0 doesn’t work, imo. Passwords might not either. Coming up with a decent compromise isn’t easy.

recently started lifting again after a 6 week layoff due to the flu and being lazy. Was glad to see I'm not the only one a little concerned with the cult like atmosphere in Egypt.
