Congrats on doing the competition. I think getting sick and losing weight was a big part of it. Unfortunately we can't control injuries, sickness, etc. You did your best, and that is all you can really do. Having a platform coach does help, just to be objective with your numbers the day of the meet. In normal conditions you get a minute to put your attempts in, so having that feedback right away is nice. I did one meet where I was 5/9. I was hunting for numbers that weren't there that day. I learned a lot from that.

Keep smashing those weights and go for that elite total!

Congrats on the meet Cody! Still impressive numbers, especially considering being sick for a month!! You’ll crush some PR’s at the next meet no doubt.

Back to a real program for the first time in a loooong time! Doing it % based, but going to start tracking my RPE on the last set.

This was ridiculously easy today. On paper, this should have been more difficult than it was based on the %-to-RPE chart. Even more amazing because I've been sleeping on the floor at my mom's house for the past 3 days and not eating nearly enough food (like half what I need) because of the stupid snow storm that knocked our power out for several days.

Planned vs actual. 7/7 means 7 was target, got 7 reps. I'm using the RTS app now as I'm trying to learn RPE, and I'm using the work @unruhschuh did to transfer the data to my log without having to type twice.

Man, you're everywhere, aren't you? I'm looking at equipment to outfit a gym, and I stumbled on this thread on bodybuilding.com. The guy said:
you just have to figure out what's most important to you and buy based on that (like, for instance, I only like over-built racks, so I only buy over-built racks)
And I thought, "hey, that sounds like Cody". Then I looked and the avator/picture and thought "huh, that looks familiar". Aaaand then I noticed the name, and thought "Cmarti063... C... like Cody. And I just read his post about deadlift bars today, so I'm pretty sure it's Cody Martin."

tl;dr - I've basically been stalking you online today.

Ha, that first post was from 2014! I still post over there but not quite as frequently anymore. But yeah, the internet is littered with my opinions on lifting equipment.

Me too, buddy! Currently able to leg press in the heavy knee sleeve also as long as I am smooth. Really need some bigger legs...

290 x 7 @ 5.5
