I got 2 :)

I suggested the name "PAL" and Matt hooked me up w/ 1 for free, but bought one anyways just to support Pioneer. Plus, I figure I'll buy another belt at some time.

Now I have a couple original black levers that I need to unload.

I'd like to see a pic of how the satin nickel looks on a fully black belt.

I know I'm biased but at this point if you were putting a belt buying guide together, you might have a Pioneer in the top spot in most, if not all, categories.

Best 3" or 4" Prong:
1) Pioneer Cut
2) Best, Dominion, Titan, Whalander, all tied by a distant second

Best Leather Oly/ Bodybuilding belt:
1) Pioneer Cut
2) Cardillo?? Lolol

Best Lever:
1) Pioneer PAL
2) SBD
2) Inzer

Best Velcro:
1) 2pood
2) Pioneer Hybrid

This might be a fun thing for us to put poll out for our forum. Would be interesting to see a full list in each category.

Alan Thrall's new IG post shows this.

Pretty much what i expected, black on black looks much better.
It's just a matter of being ok with the black finish wearing off where the pins meet the grooves.

My black lever has held up really well, outside of the spot i put a tiny chip in it with a plate the first time i used it.
The wear marks are in places not seen when the lever is closed.

I'd have to go with black on black again for a PAL.

If it matters a lot, one could always use a sharpie on worn spots pre meet.

They're going to do laser stuff on these, right? I've been holding off, wanting to have one that can be customized, but I don't see that on that page so it makes me wonder if I've been waiting for nothing.

Idk, that latching mechanism seems like it's pretty good and didn't want to seem too homerish

I mentioned that latch mechanism to Matt, and he said it looked cool, but didn't think the velcro would have any problem holding up. Having used mine a bit, it's a bit tough tightening (especially with a wrist injury) but aside from the velcro failing I don't see much benefit.

Having never used a 2Pood, I'd say yes.

Yeah, pretty excited about that. Should make ordering so much easier. Think I need to get a 3" Pioneer cut and/or the oly version, just because I want one of each style. Will be cool to see what it looks like ahead of time. Didn't love my choice of color schemes on 2 previous belts

I'm a n0ob here and to lifting with a belt in general, but I ended up buying a Pioneer Cut 4" belt with a 10% discount code from Alan Thrall. Shopped on Rogue's site for the cool "fade to black belt" that @testiclaw let me use at Ollie's but ended up discovering that it was 1. out of stock, 2. made by Pioneer, and 3. a nearly identical-in-function belt could be had for significantly less if I bought directly from Pioneer. Add in the 10% discount and it was a no brainer.

Ordered on a Monday, delivered the following Sunday. I was impressed. As I was walking in to the gym this morning, even had a girl behind the counter say "nice belt!'

I'm always so impressed with how they get those out so quickly. I was sad to hear on IG that the stock belts with PAL will be about $30 more expensive, but they're still a good value IMO.

I ordered a new PAL lever in black with silver engraving of a design I created. I am just stupid excited to see how it turns out, and to be able to adjust my belt more easily. I'll post a pic when it comes.
