Only a day of rest between this and DE day (80% for 8 triples) so not recovered. Picked a variation I haven’t done in months instead of going for the planned 305x1 on TnG Bench.

Went conservative here considering I haven’t pressed much since the shoulder injury in December. Pretty happy with this. 200x1 should happen this year.

Disaster of a day. This pretty much confirmed that I should switch away from ME 1RMs for a while. I’ve had my eye on running 8/5/2 for a while so I think that’s what I’ll do. I’ll probably just upload my last sets here.

8/5/2 Touch and Go Bench Last Set 205x9
First day of the new routine. So detrained from higher reps. Also fucked my right shoulder up at work. Realistically I probably have a small cuff tear in both shoulders. Started doing some exercises at night but need to be better about it. Got this session done in under an hour which is a plus.

8/5/2 Conventional Deadlift Hook Grip Top Set 315x8
Easy set. Got the whole workout done in about an 1 hour and 15 which includes the 2ish mile jog beforehand.
