Titan has been doing flash sales all week long.

The Fitness Factory has some deals going, too. Among other things: Just noticed, the other day, they have the Body-Solid PFt100 functional trainer currently $300 off.

I went to the Titan webpage a day or two ago and there was a pop-up that would give me 10% off my order. I went to the page later that day and a few times since, never came back.

This had the effect of making me not want to buy anything since in now feel like I’d be overpaying without that 10% discount.

My hope is to buy their new adjustable bench on or around Friday if a discount for it comes up.

Go into your browser settings, clear the cookies relating to titan.fitness, and try again. It might come back.

Oft times the first time you visit a vendor site they'll offer you a discount if you sign up for their mailing list. But, if you decline, and they can see you've been there before and declined, you won't see the offer again.

I've been trying to find 80lb dumbbells. Best deal right now is Walmart at $115/each (shipped) but I'm hoping to find something closer to $1/lb.

I wanted to buy the Kleva Built Atlas but the sale price wasn't even really a sale and looks like they didn't even have much inventory to begin with.

I was also looking at some 'buffalo' bar options (Fringe, Vulcan, BoS) because my right shoulder has been a little bitch for the last 4 weeks, but idk if if its worth it vs. just doing SSB.

I bought my wife some TYR Lifter's for 30% off.

edit: 80lb not $80lb

What weight dumbbells?

I’m not sure if it would help in your situation, but I got the Titan SSB. Has saved my shoulders. Wish I’d just done SSB squats from the get-go.

Typo.. 80lbs. I have 5-70 and paid ~$1/lb.

I'm was using the Rep SSB already once a week, and straight bar 2x/week - but I'm going to give straight bar a break for a bit.

This guy keeps a pretty good list of general sales:

I picked up the Rogue MG-4CN when it was like half off on a hot deal in early November, but other than that haven't seen any amazing deals that make me justify an impulse buy.

I don’t think the $1/lbs stuff is gonna circle back around anytime soon.

Rogue Echo 3.0 bike is $100 off.

You're gonna love that thing. I picked up a used v2 locally a month-and-a-half ago. I like my C2 rower, but, I feel the Rogue Echo Bike is unquestionably the best cardio machine I've ever used, bar none.

Only downside is doing LISS (yes: you can do LISS on a Rogue Echo Bike, contrary to what "they" claim) if you ever did much biking. Lacking adjustable resistance the only way to do it is pedal at what will feel like an unnaturally slow cadence.

I decided it was time to get one because the C2 is simply too narrow at the footboard and pisses off my hip. My father bought the Echo v2 a couple years ago, based on my recommendation, and it’s comfy.

This is why I like the C2 air bikes better. I suspect there may be some difference in training effect, though it may not matter very much, and adjustable resistance makes it easier to work around some injuries.

Some decent sales on bike smart trainers in DC Rainmaker's list, quite a bit cheaper if you already have a bicycle you like, but of course that's a significant "if" and it's harder to hit really high sprint power on those.

I debated with myself over C2 BikeErg vs. Rogue Echo Bike. The Echo won-out in the end because:
  • I liked that the Echo was a more full-body cardio workout. Kind of like a cross between an upright stationary bike and an elliptical trainer.
  • LISS wasn't important to me. I don't do it, save for warm-ups, cool-downs, and walking outdoors. What I wanted was the best possible HIIT machine.
  • The Echo was a couple hundred bucks less than the BikeErg NIB.
  • Finally: There were used Echos available locally where I could not only save money, but, try before I buy as well. No such luck with BikeErgs.
Even then: If I'd been able to interest my wife in using whatever I acquired I'd still have gone with a BikeErg, because I felt it would've suited her much better than the Echo. She wasn't interested, so Echo it was.
