LOL. Seriously. God damnit people are entitled. Life is full of choices and consequences, more people need to get told to suck it up. I fly frequently, I have three flights next month, I don't fit a lot of places but I can use an airline bathroom, I fit in a Coach seat (If you're that fat, buy the business or first class ticket) and I had no issues with any chairs in Paris. The public transit was comfortable enough too. If being that size is a problem, maybe the problem is you and not the rest of the world. Sure, our body composition likely differs (I appreciate the compliment, seriously. Thanks.) but the point is it is a choice. I could be smaller. So could she. She chooses to live in such a way as to be the way that she is, and expects everyone else to accommodate her choices. That's crap. We all have to live with the consequences of our decisions in real life, and the notion that the rest of us pay for her decisions (Bigger seats equals less seats equals higher per seat cost) is obnoxious to an extreme level. Be big if that is how you want to live, but deal with the consequences yourself. The author does not look strong. With less muscle she will have correspondingly more volume than you.
The chairs probably are less comfortable for her than for you.

They weigh checked bags, occasionally carry-ons get weighed as well but that is not normal. I think certain airlines, smaller ones in far flung places, tend to weight all the bags and if someone annoys the staff or looks sketchy they might get hassled by making them weigh all of their bags (I've seen it, usually travellers in their 20's get this treatment) and their are stipulated max weights for every bag.
