Getting through this with 2 hours of sleep was a bit of a hassle, but I can't stay mad at the belt squat contraption. What did rumple my stiltskin was driving to Sainsbury's to do a shop, only to discover their entire payment system had gone caput. What befell was chaos, scouring for an ATM (none were working), and ultimately giving up. And then having to pay 80 pence for the privilege of parking for that experience. :?

Theme Song: Fire Inside (Victor Borba)

Belt Squat: 5(160kgx12)
Weighted Back Extension: 4(40kgx12)
Leg Extension: 91kgx15,15,15,12
Lying Leg Curl: 4(55kgx12)
Hip Adduction: 3(90kgx13)
Hip Abduction: 3(55kgx13)
Standing Calf Raise: 3(88kgx15)
Cable Rope Crunch: 58.5kgx15,12,12
Cable Side Bend: 3(13x12)

Cable Pulldowns were getting super stale, so back on the rotary contraption we are. I neglected to put on my hoodie when hopping on the pullover machine, and unfortunately proceeded to cheese-grate the shit out of my the skin around my lats. Whoopsie. :?

Theme Song: Kryptonite (3 Doors Down)

Rotary Lat Pulldown: 5(16x15)
Cybex Seated Row: 4(180lbx12)
Machine Preacher Curl: 4(32kgx15)
Machine Pullover: 4(59.3kgx15)
Bayesian Curl: 10kgx15,12,12,12
Cable French Press: 3(17kgx15)
Rear Delt Flyes: 3(32.3kgx15)
Dumbbell Wrist Curl: 3(10kgx12)

You'd think the pressing would be the hardest task of this session, but it's always those pesky back extensions.

Theme Song: We're an American Band (Grand Funk Railroad)

Linear Leg Press: 5(190kgx12)
Weighted Back Extension: 4(40kgx15)
Leg Extension: 91kgx15,12,12,12
Lying Leg Curl: 4(55kgx15)
Hip Adduction: 3(90kgx14)
Hip Abduction: 3(55kgx14)
Standing Calf Raise: 3(97kgx15)
Cable Rope Crunch: 3(58.5kgx15)
Cable Side Bend: 3(13x13)

Tangential musing but making these focaccia cheesesteaks reminded me I'd probably like to do a foodie-related trip the U.S. Not only do the portion sizes seem more...satisfactory to me, but I'd like to eat some authentic cuisine (from all over the continental US). :D

If I weren't currently sitting at lunch, I'd hate you for posting.

Kinda hate you a little anyway because that looks far better than my lunch.

Foodie tour is a superb idea. Would be happy to provide some ideas should you do it.

Pretty cheap thin cut steak and leafy lettuce (incidentally the only shop I go to has both and nowhere else). I cut up some cucumbers too (I could eat these for the rest of life and never get enough) and cooked some red onions up. Topped with a cheese sauce and some cheap cheese slices. You wouldn't think I was on a mini-cut haha. That was about 305g of protein, 188g carbs, 114g of fat. Suffice it to say I still "feel" famished. I love how diverse the different states seem to be in terms of local cuisine/dishes that I really do want to visit them all (maybe not all at once). :?

I live part time in two of them and the differences in culinary options are among the best parts of the arrangement.

New York and Louisiana are both very high on the list! I'm very jealous of that arrangement. I was actually at JFK Airport in Queens several years ago for a layover so I suppose technically I've been there, but wasn't going through customs, just going to another terminal. TSA agents did however question me as if I were actually entering the land of the free.

There was a notable difference in how cam work "felt" with a slight dearth of carbs yesterday. Those cheesesteaks were worth it though, and my bloodstream was well-flush with amino acids since I hit about 350g total of protein because of it. That said, the session was manageable and I have more in the tank so for now, we continue LP-ing and DP-ing. I may have gotten it in my head to cam bench 4 plates with a pause. Honestly, I'd probably appreciate having to pause less reps per set working up to it! :P

Theme Song: Who Brings Shadow (Masayoshi Soken)

Cambered Bench Press: 5(85kgx12)
Incline Dumbbell Press: 4(27.5kgx15)
Seated Machine Lateral Raise: 4(61.5kgx12)
Cable French Press: 4(18kgx15)
Pec Flyes: 4(71kgx15)
Tricep Pushdown: 4(32.5kgx15)
Rear Delt Flyes: 3(34.5kgx15)
Snatch-Grip Shrug: 3(90kgx12)

Meal Du Jour: Focaccia BBQ Chicken, Mushrooms, Red Onions, Lettuce, Cucumber, Condiments, and Cheese. 262g Protein, 188g Carbs, 68g Fat

I went on an impromptu 15K walk last night with the real-life Slender Man, which in hindsight was not the smartest decision since today I tasked myself with trashing my legs, but here we are. The irony isn't lost on me that I strained the most on oblique work out of everything. Go figure. A bit of a change of food scenery today though, since I just had 2 scoops of whey and 12 biscuits of Weetabix to start. I'm going to make spag bog with some noodles consisting predominantly of konjac fibre to severely cut the amount of calories that comes from typical spaghetti. We'll see if my experiment pays dividends.

Theme Song: Who You Talkin' To Man? (Nostalghia)

Belt Squat: 5(165kgx12)
Weighted Back Extension: 4(45kgx15)
Leg Extension: 4(7x15)
Lying Leg Curl: 4(60kgx12)
Hip Adduction: 3(90kgx15)
Hip Abduction: 3(55kgx15)
Standing Calf Raise: 3(106kgx12)
Cable Rope Crunch: 3(65.5kgx12)
Cable Side Bend: 3(13x15)
