Rogue Monster Slinger on Rep PR5000 rack?

I’d like to be able to do tricep pull-downs.

A lat pull-down machine is a no-go, due to space and $ constraints.

I was thinking the following:

(1) buy a cross-member attachment for my Rep PR5000 rack

(2) attach the rogue monster slinger to the extended crossmember

(3) Profit

Does anyone know if this would/wouldn’t work?

Rep PR-5000 and Rogue monster have same size holes, but I think they might be slightly different distance apart due to freedom-unit/metric disparity.

Google doesn’t show anyone else as having done this, which makes me think maybe it won’t work or maybe it’s dumb for some reason I haven’t thought of.

If you think this will/won’t work, I appreciate your insight. If you know of some entirely different solution, that would be cool too.

I’m not inclined toward the Spud solution, or the Amazon kits, because I hate when there’s one wheel and the loading pin wobbles all over the place.

I use a DIY pulley system with two swivel eye pulleys (one on the pull up bar and one on the rear top cross member) and have never had the loading pin swing around even with light press down loads. Maybe I'm just not pressing fast enough to bounce the pin.

I bet your system doesn’t swing bc you have two of the pulleys. I am watching YouTube videos now of similar solutions. Thank you!

Two pulleys works well, but also attaching a bit of chain to the weights will kill off most swinging.

Never thought of that. Makes sense. Thank you!

Update: found this startup product. Looks like it will attach to my rack and has an easily adjustable height. Will hold off for now and see if price is reasonable when this comes out.

Bridge Built is not the first nor will be the last to create these style of products.
