More SGDL help

I really need some help. While I do snatch grip deadlifts, I hurt and occasionally slightly injure myself as I pull the bar over my groin. I unintentionally remedy this by bending my elbows and swinging the bar away, which seems even more dangerous. Do you have any suggestions other than not doing SGDLs. Do the neoprene shorts work, even though I’m looking for a simpler solution? I really like doing SGDLs.
And I’ll start the funny stuff too by saying I’ve already tried taping and chalk, neither worked and I really don’t recommend the tape. I work out in gym shorts and briefs,,,,,, and a shirt. Form checks are available on my members (see what I did there) only site.
I’d really appreciate your suggestions (and I used suggestions instead we of tips here,) serious or even not serious.

Do you love them enough to buy specialized equipment?

Because if so... @lehman906 can show you the way...

Yeah, that thing is a game changer. No more worrying about uppercutting your junk. The gym I was going to happened to have one, so I used it. Since I have not had access, SGDL has mysteriously disappeared from my repertoire. I suppose I could do them again if I wore the tightest compression shorts, but as much as I love the exercise, it's not really worth the worry.

Not sure your arm length, but it's not required you grip out to the plates.
I use index on the rings.

Boxer briefs with cutoff sweats over, hike the legs up first also seems to help.
