Tuna cakes

What's a carb? A car part? What's a macro? A type of camera lens?

Whipped this up for lunch today

100g lentils
Can of tuna
Large egg
Healthy dash of trader hoes citrus garlic seasoning
1 tsp corn starch for good luck
1 tsbp of oil

Combine all non-oil ingredients. Add more cornstarch if mix looks too moist. Fry in oil, pushing flat into pancakes. Super tasty.

Why the lentils? That to me is the new thing here.

Lentils now go in everything. 9 grams of protein protein per .5 cup cooked and its a “starch”? Also I made a 2 pound bag, so I’m putting them in everything this week. In my breakfast burritos, in my pasta n meatballs, even in pork ramen. Fite me.

The lentils add body, texture, and carbs to patty.
