Guess you lose your ability to edit posts after a certain amount of time, so this is the end of last week and the start of this one.

Thursday (10/6)

Deads - 235x6x1, 245x4x2 (Feeling more confident with these. I think I may have been focusing too much on the breathe and brace nonsense and as opposed to just making sure everything was tight all over. Been keeping that in the back of my head lately, and the sets seem to go much smoother than they were previously.)
Single Leg Ext. - 40x9x1, 40x8x3
RDLs - 135x8x3 (Giving these a shot again. They've caused some problems for me in the past. Weird heart related stuff.)
Single Leg Calf Raises - 40x13x3, 40x12x1
Captain's Chair Leg Raises - BWx11x3, BWx10x1

Friday

Bench (Gillingham, L) 115x3x8 (Still don't know about this light day.)
Dips - BWx11x4
DB Curls - 30x8x4
OA Tricep PD - 40x11x4
Seated Row - 115x15x4 (Went with 1 minute rests between the sets to try and make it "harder" since I can't add any more weight.)

Monday (10/10)

Tuesday

Squat - 225x4x1, 225x5x2 (Trying to weasel my squat back up. First set felt terrible, like I was going to fall over. Sets 2 and 3 were much better, but I still didn't feel confident. If someone told me they had seen me squat a set of 265 for 5 before, I would laugh in their face. Sigh. Going to keep plugging away at it.)
Leg Ext. - 90x8x4
Leg Curls - 35x9x4
Leg Press Calf Raises - 340x15x3, 340x12x1 (Cramp on the last set.)
Cable Crunch - 115x12x4

Wednesday

Press - 120x6x1, 125x4x2 (Last two sets were really, really tough. May need to look at microloading to keep pushing up while maintaining a reasonable RPE).
Hammer Curls - 25x11x3, 25x10x1
Cable Tricep Ext. - 80x11x4
Barbell Rows - 95x11x3, 95x10x1
Inc. Bench - 120x8x4 (This really pissed my shoulder off. It was fine with it last week. Not sure what was going on.)

Thursday

Deads - 245x5x3 (Still making moves. Fingers crossed!)

Rough couple of weeks for me. Tldr - Flu. Long version to follow.

10/17/22

Bench (Gillingham, H) - 186x1x1, 167x3x5
EZ Curls - 35x13x1, 35x12x3
Tricep PD - 115x10x3, 115x11x1
Lat PD - 110x11x1, 110x10x3
Cable Fly - 25x10x4

Later on that night, I got woken up by my boys' crying that they were freezing. Both were running fevers and pouring sweat. I figured, no big deal, just your standard childhood sickness. Boy was I wrong. By the time we were done with the whole ordeal, both boys had tested positive for Influenza Type A, fevers that broke 106 degrees multiple times, periods of fever delirium for both of them, and I ended up sick as well. Probably the sickest I can remember being since I've had the boys. Covid-19 didn't have shit on this. I ran a fever of 103 for 3 solid days, couldn't eat anything, and I would wake up in the middle of the shivering so hard my wife asked me if I was having a seizure. I lost 6 pounds in 4 days. The shit sucked. Finally got released back to "normal" activities on 10/25/22, but my lifts for the entire next week were complete shit. I felt weak as hell.

10/25/22

10/26/22 - Woke up dizzy as shit for some reason. Squats were a no go, even with the empty bar.

10/28/22 - Finally stated to feel like a normal person again.

Finally got back to my regular programming. Felt good. Made the mistake of watching some RP stuff, and now I'm tossing around the idea in my head of changing up my programming again. Why do I do this to myself?
