Re: In pursuit of my potential
Feel better, man. Even that is pretty good - those split squats are tough and tedious.

Thanks @Manveer. Just got to stave off detraining. Hopefully I'll be OK in a few days and will be able to get one week of training in before bench nationals.

TnG bench - 150x5@7, 157.5x5@8 - e1rm 195, not too far off the normal 200, surprisingly - 165x4@9.5, 155x5@8.
Felt the systemic fatigue a bit on the 165. Had nothing when the bar asked me to dig a bit. Decent session to get in to tide me over until next week though.

RDL - 165x10 @6, 172.5x10 @6, 182.5x10 @6.5, 192.5x10@7-7.5
Will probably do some chins tomorrow then start the new block on Monday.

TnG bench - 170x2x2@8-9, 160x2x4@8-9.5, 155x2x2@8
Back smoked from yesterday so opted for this instead.

Squat - 182.5x6@6, 195x6@6, 207.5x6x4@6.5-7.5
I need about 225x6@8 for a PR. I am going to absolutely steamroll my usual weights this block. Been flirting with 500lb for volume work for too long over the last year or so. It needs to become baseline.

2ct Bench (my new 'comp bench') - 145x4@6, 152.5x4@7.5, 160x4@10, 150x4x3@8-10, 140x4@8
Press - 65x10x2@7.5-8. Tweaked my neck somehow. 3 sets left to do later in the week.
Should probably go 165/175/180-182.5 for the bench meet at the weekend. Might be enough for a podium finish.

Re: In pursuit of my potential
Haha, thanks @Wilhelm
Pretty bad neck tweak. Struggling to turn my head much at all. Haven't deadlifted or done anything at all since it happened to avoid making it worse. Tried a bit of benching tonight to see if it'll be worth going to the meet.
Warmups then 2ct 170x1@8.5. Bit of pain but mainly on unracking/racking, which a handoff will help with.
165/175/180-182.5 should still be OK.

Weighed 107.3 this morning, annoyingly. It's been 105.5-106.5 since the comp last month. Might be tight to make -105 tomorrow.

165@7.5/175@9/182.5x, stuck just before lockout.
I was 105.8 when I first weighed in, then had to spend the full 2-hr weigh-in window running around a swimming pool with a tracksuit on and spitting in a cup. I eventually managed to hit 104.9 naked.
I am not doing 105 again.

Deadlift - 217.5x6@5.5. This flew, but it aggravated my neck tweak. Felt like 242.5x6@8 would've been there for a PR. Soon.
2ct Bench - 140x4@6, 145x4@7.5, 145x4@10, 135x4x4@8-10. Bit of neck pain on the last sets. Left trap.
Will have to see how I feel tomorrow. Hopefully squats will be fine, but I might have to do a load of deadlift volume at 68% for a week or so to avoid backsliding.

Squat - 202.5x6@6, 212.5x6@7, 222.5x6@8 e1rm PR 284kg. Neck done for the day. Worth walking around like Frankenstein for though. Will have to see how I feel in a day or two then do the missed volume if I can.

Pin Press (chest level) - 140x4@6, 147.5x4@7, 155x4x4@7.5-10, 147.5x4@8
Squat w/50kg chains - 172.5x5@6, 182.5x5@7, 192.5x5@8 PR. Was supposed to do 2 repeats but left it there because I'm not sure how my neck will respond. Still interfering with my sleep, and it hurt getting up off the bench today.
Some bench and light deadlifts tomorrow then hopefully normal training next week.

Squat - 202.5x6@8, 217.5x6@7, 227.5x6@8 PB, 217.5x6x2@8, 217.5x5@7.5.
Kids came in the garage after the top set, and I couldn't get my head back into it fully. Dropped the weight a touch. Back started to round a little on the last set so I cut it a rep short because I have to deadlift soon.
The difference between this and the 215x5x5 I did on TM right before all my SI joint trouble started was just day and night.
