Actually I'm not doing that bad after my 2020 selloff: 5 normal bars and 17 total. I think I got down to closer to 10 total in mid-2020 and then started accumulating again. Not including dumbbell handles or most of the strongman implements.

Anyway I have 9. In rough order of acquisition (the ones in the middle might be jumbled):

1. Ohio Power Bar
2. CAP "Beast" bar (in the garage for overhead pressing)
3. Ohio Deadlift Bar (boneyard), craigslist find
4. Old beat up BFS bar with a fine patina that I got for an extra $20 along with some used plates I was buying (I use this for landmine stuff)
5. Rogue kids bar (acquired incidentally with larger craigslist purchase)
6. Vulcan curl bar
7. Transformer Bar
8. Oppen Bar
9. Titan Angled Multigrip Bar

Plus a shitty 1" bar that is just taking up space on my gun rack and I'll probably ditch at some point. It was for the kids but it's redundant since getting #5.

This +1000! 2 is the proper number. Also lets me warmup on one lift while doing work sets on a different lift (i.e. I do warmups for bench in between work sets for squats).

Although my actual number is 5:

-Fringesport Chad Vaughn weightlifting bar. This was competition used so I got it super cheap
-Titan rackable curl bar due to be delivered this week.
-Cheap hex bar
-1" bar for the kids

TBH I'd want more if I had the space. Before we moved and gym got downsized I was dreaming of another WLing bar for Jerk station, a SSB and possibly a hex bar.

I got two. Bare steel OPB I got from Rogue's scratch and dent for like $170 and some garbage Dicks bar I got from a yard sale with the plate set and tree.

I also got a 5" standard bar I got when I was like 13 and an ezcurl.

Stole a seven foot length of 2" bar stock from works scrap pile but I haven't done anything with it yet.
