Thread to try and shamelessly coerce curious Exodus members to participate in strongman, and report results/participation for Static Monsters...
If you've ever been curious to try strongman but don't want to do a full contest this is the best opportunity you can get. Oct 24th is Static Monsters 2020, a max log/max axle deadlift contest that is held all around the globe. This is an 'unsanctioned' contest so there is no membership required, just the entry fee. Very similar rules to powerlifting, 3 attempts, you call your opener and subsequent attempts.
Your total gets ranked against every other competitor globally... so you're kind of competing against the entire planet... which is cool. I believe Rob Kearney and Zydrunas are competing this year, so you can in a round-about way so you competed against the pros haha...
