Re: Forum issues
When I go to a topic, it automatically takes me to the first page. It should automatically take me to the last.
Edit: never mind the above. I guess that's not how things ever work.
The ability to configure the number of posts per page would be nice.

Re: Forum issues
I think default behavior when clicking on a link should be to open in a new tab.
I second needing ability to embed video.

Agree to both. Embedded is the only way I can see videos.Root wrote:I think default behavior when clicking on a link should be to open in a new tab.

Re: Forum issues
Apparently we can only embed images up to 400x600 pixels? Is that fixable? Because my grill pr0n is HI DEF.
Lest these suggestions come off as complaints: I really appreciate all'y'all guys doing this.

Purely a convenience feature, but if there is going to be a limit on nested quotes, it would be cool if the forum auto-deleted everything but the outside-layer quote when quoting. (Begh feel the quote quoting as you quote to quote the quote.)
Anyway, there was this other forum I used to be on and that's how it worked there.

Proposed rule, all posts in this thread are assumed to agree with this unless explicitly stated otherwise.Root wrote: Lest these suggestions come off as complaints: I really appreciate all'y'all guys doing this.

Re: Forum issues
I set that limit for now because we are shared hosting and I want file sizes to remain small and page load speeds to be fast. Sorry about that. Once we grow and things change, I'll probably change it to 2048px max width. It also bothered me when embedded photos on SS were out of control and would eat up the whole page.Root wrote:Apparently we can only embed images up to 400x600 pixels? Is that fixable? IMO, people should use Imgur and other photo services for photos, anyway.d0uevenlift wrote:

Is there a need to limit nested quotes? Nested quotes can help sometimes to clarify discussions.mikeylikey wrote:Purely a convenience feature, but if there is going to be a limit on nested quotes, it would be cool if the forum auto-deleted everything but the outside-layer quote when quoting.

Re: Forum issues
To be clear, I wasn't trying to upload an image, I was trying to embed an externally hosted image using tags and got that error.
