Bands, chains, wraps, straps, racks... are you sure this is training related?

I'll get some, to support local manufacturing.

The weird question to me is whether, if they're made near you, you could just go and pick some up at the factory, or whether you would have to have them shipped to Ohio then to you.

I think the same thing about the kettlebells that are made in Pawtucket.

I'd imagine a manufacturer as big as rogue has non-competes in their contracts, no? I certainly would make sure that's in there if I was Rogue. Prevent them from selling to Rep, Titan, anyone else - branded or not.

Rogue has allowed for pickup of items direct from the foundry provided the purchase is made through Rogue.

Yeah I was thinking the foundry must have no way to process small payments or even do basic customer relations....

Likely what is allowed is an alternate shipping method like local delivery or something. Since most places have the ability to ship UPS or FedEx, they will basically treat you as the delivery person on paper. I’m guessing not everything reships through Rogue. Especially heavy stuff.

Pick me up 2 and I'll pick them up when I visit my in-laws.

Are they not released yet, or are they already sold out or something? I keep forgetting this whole ronapocalypse is a thing for gym equipment.

Id like to get a pair just to see if I can pick them up by the hub with my fingertips like old time strongmen used to do.

Hello all
These plates look amazing. I would love to get some of these. For those who are worried there is not enough length on the bar sleeve just buy the 100lbs plates. If you can fill up the bar with 100lbs plates you should be on stage. :D

TimK wrote: Tue Jun 16, 2020 7:19 am These old school deep dish plates look cool but they're not very practical for heavy deadlifting. In the comments he says they're going to be 2" thick... so max load on the OPB with 16.25" sleeves would be around 695, 700 with the collars hanging halfway off the end of the bar.
100's are 2.95" deep so you could fit 5 on each side with a 1.5" clamp. So if anyone was worried about not being able to perform their 1045 lb deadlifts worry no more lol

I ordered the Deep Dish 100's.
I got an email a week or two ago saying there were unexpected delays and no estimated delivery date could be provided.

Idk, after seeing Coops IG post, they are just too wide. I was thinking they would be closer to my Troy plates, but those are as wide as my hundreds.

He got 10x45s. For an unboxing? Does he sell/give away stuff, especially impossible to get during a pandemic stuff? Or did he get 700lbs of high demand plates just so that no one else could have them?

He owns a gym (one that’s not in a garage) so maybe that’s where they’re going...?
