This won't be a shitshow.
I mean, i agree with all of it, but have a hard time imagining it will be anything but a train wreck at my local level.
I know of one ref for sure who is a "masks do nothing" guy.
The warmup room is tiny and chaoticlly crowded at the one gym i've done meets at.
At least the debate on these issues will be limited by everyone having to follow the rules.
I was not looking forward to being judged for wanting to take precautions.
I'm already thinking it may be a long time before i do a meet again anyway.
Maybe by 2021 there will be a vaccine and/or really effective drugs.

Re: USAPL covid rules
USA Weightlifting has been hosting meets online. I was busy last month, but will probably enter one this month. I think the set-up is like the CrossFit Open. You video your weigh-in and lifts, then upload for judging.

Online seems the way to go. If some high squats gets passed because of camera angles, who the cares, right?
When we doing an exodus meet again? Should charge money so the mods running it can make some money for their time

I don't see USAPL going online for meets.
