If you're not one of those old fogies that 'just doesn't get it', but instead are a young hip guy/gal in the know, then share yo tunez:

(These are gr8 for squats if you can time the bass dropping with yo hips dropping)

Far Too Loud

Spag Heddy

Devin Martin

Pendulum (normally DnB, but this song gets pretty filthy after about 5:20)

I like listening to dubstep when I have a lot of work to do in MS Office. I pretend I'm a hacker.

Just put on a Nintendo Power glove and bash on your keyboard really fast. Ideally have 8+ windows open on your screen. Rollerblades encouraged but not required.

I've never understood why one ALWAYS looks awkward and clumsy as fuck on rollerblades. Like, on actual ice skates, I can casually skate circles in all directions, frontwards and backwards, with my hands in my pockets looking all relaxed and shit. Any human being ever tries to just go forward in rollerblades, and they appear to have polio-rickets.

Probably because hockey skates are curved a little to allow you some leeway with your weight distribution. Try that shit on figure skates and see what happens. Toooooee pick.

Not dubstep, but this soundcloud account has some sweet classic EDM from the 90s to the 2000s.

Bass drop

Robot noises as the song fades out.

Dubstep and EDM were created when somebody left a drum machine and microphone on by accident (probably bath salts related), causing the cats and mice to screech, some of which was picked up by a microphone. Same bath-salts-friendly employees liked it. True story.

Every. Goddamn. Song.

The funny thing is that a "bass drop" is not even great.

Some dubstep is great background music for programming.

Boring music with heavy beat and almost no vocals == max stay-awake power + minimal intellectual distraction.

Probably because it's designed to be danced-to by people stoned out of their gourds.

less-formulaic EDM (IDM, I guess)

[*]

A possible doorway into DnB/IDM if you're a metalhead.
