deathlift contest = lifting to death? possibly

Gonna start deadlifting again to do this. My deadlift usually increases pretty fast after a layoff, and it doesn't seem that difficult when I think of it as "1 deadlift done every 6 seconds for 9 minutes" or something like that. Haven't deadlifted heavy in like 9 months...maybe this is super dumb. I'll find out!

Deadlift: 315 x 3

Pulled early this morning after a sleepless night. My grip is terrible. I'll probably be using straps for this.

In other news, I ordered a new barbell from X Training! I'm stoked to get rid of my awful box store bar.

I saw that weight room deadlift challenge. It seems like either 225x45 or 315x45 for time would be a fun challenge, but both seems scary.

Yeah, I feel like it might break me. Also, I'm annoyed that we're not able to pause between sets to change plates.

The deadlift challenge might be out of reach for now, lol. Maybe soon.

Chins: 3, 2, 1, 1
Bench: 3 sets of 5 at 135
Front Squat: One set of 5 at 85.

First time trying front squats with straps, worked much better than bodybuilder grip or clean grip.
