Re: That’s was no suicide...
Could be suicide by coercion.
The trail likely runs far and wide. If he had people in his life that were truly innocent bystanders (e.g. family members) that were being threatened, it might’ve been his only option?
It’s all fucked up no matter how you look at it.

Re: That’s was no suicide...
I've been reading this guy and his little black book of names for like 6 years on Reddit. I'm convinced he had dirt on a lot of big people and don't believe this was a suicide at all.

Re: That’s was no suicide...
Yesterday I was reading Reddit threads saying there was no way he'd live to trial because too many powerful people were at risk and it would be labelled suicide.
How does someone on suicide watch commit suicide? They're supposed to remove anything he could use to injure himself.

This is like the Frankie Pentangeli suicide in godfather 2.

Good thing there’s totally not a gigantic, global ring of sex trafficking and pedophilia dating back centuries that binds the world’s elite for the purposes of extortion and secret keeping.
Whew.

Why would there be? Unfortunately that sort of thing is far too cheap and easy to get locally, no?BostonRugger wrote: ↑Sat Aug 10, 2019 11:45 am Good thing there’s totally not a gigantic, global ring of sex trafficking and pedophilia dating back centuries that binds the world’s elite for the purposes of extortion and secret keeping.

Also until fairly recently, pedophilia in our modern sense wasn't that taboo... Or probably sex trafficking.ChrisMcCarthy1979 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 10, 2019 12:27 pmWhy would there be? Epstein is perfect fodder for the Lincoln Financial, Pizzagate type conspiracies. But he’s real and has real connections to real powerful people.

More fodder - he was recently taken off suicide watch, despite having been placed on it a little while before.

Ya. This article's thesis is pretty much "oh shit" this is too much like the wacko conspiracies to be good for the country. Some parts of the real story are crazier than Pizzagate. . . .BostonRugger wrote: ↑Sat Aug 10, 2019 4:04 pm So I’m not totally serious. But I’m not totally kidding either.

A former inmate of the MCC said it's impossible to kill yourself in the unit Epstein was in:

Same as I’m thinking above. Someone showed him some photos of truly innocent people he knew and a few choice words.Bcharles123 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 10, 2019 11:12 am This is like the Frankie Pentangeli suicide in godfather 2.

Popehat has a great Twitter rant where he urges us not to underestimate the ability of the guards to be totally incompetent.

Not sure I buy his argument.
I understand guards can be incompetent and indifferent cogs in a system with little accountability and the wrong incentives.
None of that means he wasn't murdered.
The existence of absolutely-plausible-theory-A does nothing to disprove absolutely-plausible-theory-B.

It makes sense. Win-win. He wanted to kill himself but the prison took that away from him. Others wanted him to kill himself. So they made arrangements - gave him a 15 minute window - some cord - a technique - in exchange for his secret diaries, thumb drives etc.mgil wrote: ↑Sat Aug 10, 2019 7:13 pmSame as I’m thinking above. Yeah I think there are probably a few prison guards/staff who are gonna buy nice boats when the heat has died down.Bcharles123 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 11, 2019 4:49 amIt makes sense. Win-win.
