So Raiders. The terms of the contract are such that the guaranteed money isn’t guaranteed until AB is on the week one roster.

They couldn’t get this guy in line with millions of dollars in leverage. Now they won’t even have that.

This is how the Patriots win. Sit back and let the rest of the league r-word themselves into futility.

AB made a 'heartfelt' apology at a team meeting (after his agent informed him that his 30MM really was at risk if he kept acting like an amateur.)

https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/275 ... ed-gm-tiff

and LOL at Vontaze Burfict being the calming element in the near melee.

I guess JuJu Smith rearranged something in his brain. Like a Phineas Gage in reverse where Burfict is now a decent human.

can't wait for the next episode of this. just kicking the can down the road.

because once 30MM is kinda guaranteed, there's nothing stopping him from going full douchebag level 9000.

blows up during the regular season, when it counts more, and it more difficult for the Raiders to deal with then
(domestic violence, punches a coach or ref, etc)

It didn't take long for Bears fans' confidence to go from 10 to ~3.5

The nervous applause from Bears fans when their kicker hit a routine field goal was great.

They probably would’ve cheered harder if they’d known that it would be their only score.

AB also called the GM a “cracker” and gets away with it. Now what would happen if said GM had been the one to use a racial slur? Double standard much?

Apparently Gruden didn't know he was being recorded.

Eh, maybe for a year or two. They made it work for a while with Moss and with Corey Dillion.

Those dudes always turn back into pumpkins eventually.

And Blount.

Even though you own my Steelers, no hate on my part , just respect. Other than this Sunday night and maybe playoffs , I am not bothered by how well you do. I do however hope your success is not substantially driven by that knucklehead.

Saw a Sikh dude at the grocery store wearing a Palomalu jersey and a bright yellow turban. Bro is out here enlisting his deity in the night game while picking avocados at Wegmans.

I fucking love football season.

So many rumors swirling around with AB, it's just too much conspiracy theories for me to enjoy thoroughly enough. I can't wait to see what happens with all of this.

Don't get me wrong, the guy is a prick, probably has a slight mental disorder (personality disorder)....

...but the joke might be on everybody else to a degree. He's just getting his way every time.
He wanted out a Pitt. Roethlisberger seems to be a bit of a prick himself, and AB being a diva and all.
So not a big surprise there.

Then signs up with the Raiders, then sees first hand that that is a sinking ship, Gruden isn't going to last, etc.

So what's an AB gonna do? ... Play the AB card obviously: ice-foot thing and the helmet issue .... attack GM. That'll do it.

From what I've heard he requested to be traded to the Patriots from Pitt, but they wouldn't do it. So he gets traded to the Raiders, signs a deal then just goes wild with them.

If true, that'll make a future Pitt vs Pats playoff game all the better to watch if AB is still active and contributing.

I don't know why anyone would want to go to (or stay with) the Raiders.
