Same question... I can't think of anyone ever praising him... he just kinda flies under the radar because he's not offensively bad or as annoying as the Romo/Collinsworth...

The most entertainment he provided is when we created a fan theory that Dexter faked his death to become Greg Olsen...

I mean, you just type "Greg Olsen" into google and the top results are all about how good he is. Crap like this:

https://ftw.usatoday.com/lists/greg-ols ... n-reaction

Maybe his media team is just blasting crap out since the rumors are that he'd be booted if Brady comes to the booth.

Nah, those tweets linked in the article all are legit. I truly had no idea that anyone felt that way.

Over-analyzing every aspect of the modern gladiatorial games is a lot more fun than thinking about how shitass everything else is. Or something.

the investigation by USA TODAY found that Wilson’s organization reported it spent just 24.3 cents of every dollar on charitable activities in 2020 and 2021 combined and nearly twice as much, $1.1 million, on salaries and employee benefits in that span, according to federal tax records.

The salaries include more than six figures for an executive who also works personally for Ciara and Russell Wilson, which has nonprofit experts prodding.

Steak. Got a grill grate last month for my firepit, and decided to break it into today. I've never had wood fired steak at home before. This is going to be a big summer.

Why am I sitting in front of a TV, using my digital antenna to watch this?

I haven’t watched a football game in over 2 years

Stop and Shop had some veal loin chops on sale. I would have preferred older cow…
Pulled pork got a late start. It should be done sometime after I put the kids to sleep

I’m just here for an Evil Dead Rise or a John Wick 4 commercials.

That grill grate looks like life goals, @omaniphil . Maybe I need to build one this summer.

EDIT:

when I first heard about this on the radio, I imagined a Hanoi Hilton McCain box thing ....

Hardly the case:

----------------------

EDIT: I have a chicken also do its own solitary confinement therapy. But the real deal unlike Roger's only-two-days thing at a resort.

Long story short, it was the damnest thing, I had a chicken stand on the edge an metal empty garden hose-pot, and she somehow flipped in onto itself trapping it. We could not find it, looked everywhere, patrolled the whole neighborhood, etc. Figured it escaped and got taken by a dog, or coyote.
6 DAYS LATER, after it disappeared, I was doing yard work, and heard a noise coming from the flipped over pot ....funny it scared me at first, and I thought it was a rat or something. Turned the pot over and it was Lilly ! Crazy shit. 6 days, no food or water.

Funny, because the other 7 chickens started attacking/pecking her; they didn't recognize her/forgot in that short of a timeframe. Which was doubly funny, because she was the oldest/alpha chicken of the bunch..... and clearly wasn't going to submit to be pecked at/pecking order ... and quickly retaliated to the Nth degree or whatever ....even in her weakened state.

Fucken chickens..... Fucken rodgers

This is probably the only place I can get this out of my brain without sounding like a chode because it's a sympathetic crowd...

Today was Damar Hamlin's first practice in pads and it's wild to me that this man can basically die on the field and be back to training and playing high level full contact football and yet there is a massive proliferation of people who will get a minor injury and basically refrain from doing anything physical ever again...

Wild.

That is crazy.

I always thought it was crazy Peyton Manning continued to play after his neck injury. Manning could not feel his throwing hand. He had an experimental surgery where cadaver tissue was grafted to his neck or something. Had to get it done in Europe. Never got back to 100% but he won another Superbowl. He already had a HOF career and was worth 100's of millions. Some of these guys are wired different.

If I am just not feeling it I will go home for the day.

Yes, average slogs of society are pussies in general. Agree.

Damar may not have THAT big of a choice, compared to say the Peyton Manning example.
He probably has some shitty degree in management or public service or some shit. To give up on football so early in his career doesn't leave a lot of other pleasant life-options for him. He absolutely NEEDS to make 10 million over a dew/several years NOW or ..... otherwise a lot is lost.

Sounds like what happened was a very freak, but well understood, thing: "Hamlin later confirmed that he had suffered an episode of commotio cordis, an extremely rare condition in which cardiac rhythm is disrupted by a blow to the chest during a specific 40-millisecond span in the heart's electrical cycle. The condition is 97% fatal if not treated within three minutes"

Shitty way to lose but, hey, could’ve been blown out by 23 like my guys. This is going to be a very long season.
