Clear Peps... I mean Protein?

What's a carb? A car part? What's a macro? A type of camera lens?

Anyone gonna be adventurous enough to pull the trigger on this?

Post training mojito with some rum sounds pretty intriguing if I'm being honest hahaha

Cool. I'll get some with my next order for sure. Almost tried out Isopure's version a few months ago but there was only one flavor in stock and all the reviews said it tasted like ass.

I got ESN FruityWhey Isolate with BCAA's in tropical punch flavour. The texture is like water, and the fruity flavours actually work.

Only downside is it's 32€/kilo. The standard whey is like 16-20€.

But nothing beats this:

I don't think it's that new really.

Bulk Nutrients have been doing their 'Future Whey' for a year or more now - https://www.bulknutrients.com.au/products/future-whey/

Then there is stuff like Bodiez Protein Water - https://bodiezpro.com/ and Venom do one too - https://www.vpa.com.au/products/protein-water

I've tried the Future Whey, it was pretty good (but not actually whey....) and will be ordering some of the VPA one pretty soon.

Maybe it's less prevalent in the US? We can actually buy Bodiez Protein Water at Woolworths here, I picked up a bottle the other day to try partly because of this thread. Haven't got round to drinking it yet. It's berry flavour, would probably go OK with vodka ;)

Hard necro - but got this to placate my wife who really doesn't dig the milky types of beverages. Started with Costco having a sale on Protein2O strawberry - realized she'd hit her goal of 150g/day with one or two of those but dislikes the typical wheys in water, or added to oats/recipes.

The Peach Mango and Dragonfruit whatever are both tasty as shit. Better than the Protein2O. (Slightly better at 80 cals for 20g/protein to 90/20 for Pro-H20)

They mix poorly in a shaker, get really clumpy and crystalline. In a blender/food processor, they blend very well but whip up a frothy head that takes a good 10-15m to reduce down (then the drink's clear as described in the name).

Have yet to try pre-mixing in blender, then carrying with to work for postworkout - will report back as to whether it re-crystallizes or stays in a fluid state after X hours in a cup in a fridge.

If you buy it in the 35 serves per jug size, it's about 2x the price of a "milky"/standard whey from them. For me, having this around for the wife and their *outstanding* Vanilla casein covers my bases, soon as I run out of the S'mores standard whey I got from them I'll probably just switch over with her.
