You want your hips and shoulders to rise at nearly the same rate.

What are the diameter of those plates? You might want to pull of if a 3-5cm block.

That's fine to be going on with. It'll come together more as it gets to be heavier, at the moment you could almost clean it.

A pretty awesome workout idea that @Hanley used to do and I think I might try when I can figure out a snatch:

Start with snatches
Add weight until miss
Continue with snatch high pulls
Add weight until miss
Continue with SGDL
Add weight until miss (or x3@8 is more likely)

It would intuit to be an excellent session.
Tried this today but with modifications just because

Upright rows like 2x10
Add weight
Snatch high pulls some triples
Add weight
SGDL some doubles

It was fun, also I have ugly posture upper back so thought it could be useful if I do this 2x week.
