Not exactly a dominating victory, and to be fair it almost slipped away from me on the last two events, but a win is a win and the books are gonna show I finally made it to the top of a podium...

I'm very seldom fully satisfied, even with a win... I will always find something I could have done different and tend to dwell on it too much...

Decided to double the top single today since it's the start of a new block and the weight starts lower.
Second rep felt easier than the first.

Figured something easy and a little enjoyment boost of a PR.
So not straying too far from the plan.
Start of the cycle is basically a deload.

Hit my 405 Zercher squat goal on Monday. 405x1 @9.5.
Felt pretty cool to learn to trust the process and hit my goal faster than if I had kept trying to push the top single every week with escalating RPE.

Brand new PR after finishing the Fighter pull-up program.
11 repetitions. Previous all time best was 10 reps in October 2020.
Don’t know why my video uploaded as a short. Possibly the portrait mode video.
Anyways post PR I was dissatisfied with just 11. Felt I have 12 in me at least but maybe with baby caring it’s not expressed. I may try a different pull-ups program, as long as it fits in with my new life as baby daddy.

I think it's a PR, but I did sets of 16 from my knees today with the ab wheel.
