That's sweet work, well done buddy!Sumo wrote: ↑Sun Mar 31, 2019 2:57 am Oh hey so I did a manlet thing last week, I benched a PR. It's a massive PR in fact, 15kg over my previous PR fo 105kg from 15 months ago. To confound things further, I am currently in the last week of a 3 months long diet and I haven't had a conventional deload for just as long....
Colour me surprised because I haven't benched above 105 in training since that last PR, not raw anyways. I hit 118 with a slingshot but it doesn't mean much since I don't have much in the way of data to work out what my raw bench would be when I can hit xyz with a slingshot.

Re: PR THREAD OF AWESOMENESS!!!
thanks @Hanley , if only going from 120 to 135 would be just as quick... oh well, I'm in it for the long haul.

30 lbs. PR on low pin squat. 405x1. I'm thinking my squat PR of 445 is coming down soon.

Comp DL 500x1@7. Definitely the fastest I've ever moved 500, really want to DL 550 at my meet in 18 days.

Re: PR THREAD OF AWESOMENESS!!!
Not for me, but a new girl I'm training had her first powerlifting contest this weekend. We added a lot of strength in a pretty short period of time (I started working with her 8 weeks ago). This was a USPA meet. She made all her lifts, but lost a few to technical faults (not waiting for rack commands), but she did 110/67.5/142.5 with 150 probably being there for deadlift. Her next meet is in August, but if she keeps it up she will be a really good lifter I think.
