Caffeine / Pre-workout

What's a carb? A car part? What's a macro? A type of camera lens?

I've started taking myprotein caffeine 200mg pills. Very convenient and it seems to me they act pretty quickly.

I like 200mg as my normal dose, but I take 100mg pills now because sometimes you want 300mg but not quite 400mg

I take 1.5 200mg pills. They are very easy to cut.

It pisses me off that they can't just give you 100 mg pills though.

Like why would you want poorer resolution with your dosing? Does doubling the amount of pills cost that much? And if so, can't they include that in the cost?

I'm not saying 100 mg pills don't exist, but all the normal webshops in Norway don't have them anymore, and I'd rather not pay customs for this.

From what I can tell, most of the cost is the pills and packaging, rather than the caffeine. For example, Amazon sells 250 100 mg for $10 and 3x100 200 mg are $14.

Poorer resolution? I'd bet the difference between a 200 mg pill cut in half and a 100 mg pill is insignificant and probably less than the sample variation in the pills.

Is customs that expensive?

I've used 100 mg pills a lot. I notice the difference. Whether the placebo effect is involved there, I don't know, but it doesn't matter cause my perception is real to me anyways.

There's a 25% customs tax here for any online postal order exceeding 41 USD (or 350 NOK). That includes shipping.

With shipping and toll, it's been my experience it's more expensive to buy stuff online outside Norway, because *stuff+shipping* rarely is below 41 USD.

@perman Amazon UK will deliver to Norway for £4.95 + £2.75 delivery (although I didn't go all the way to checkout).

You had to go and do the work and prove my bitching unreasonable didn't you?
