Re: Dean's lifting log
Monday 10/8
Bench: 3-315@9.5 (Oh yeah that is a lifetime 3 rep PR), 4x3-280@7-8 2 min rest (extra 30 seconds after 315 for celebration)
Squat: 2x4-345@8, 3-345@9 and 3-345@6 3 min rest (my quad is acting up...I had to do a slow eccentric with a pause at the bottom)
10 min chin: 60 reps
I'm super happy about bench. Thanks for reading and have a great Monday!

Nice pulls @deant.
Snowing in New Mexico, time to tune the ride.

Thanks! Yeah, I saw that Wolf Creek is opening weekends starting tomorrow! I just bought a new Capita Mercury and I’m itching to test that thing out! Dude, snowboard season is the best season. You got the skins on your rock skis?

@Skid Maybe a 500lb tree will fall, block my path and need to be moved...it could happen! . Oh man, I got stuck in a creek and it took me over an hour to get out on a 42” weekend a couple years ago. Ugh...rough!

Re: Dean's lifting log
Thursday 10/18
Bench: 1-340@10, 2x4-275@7-8 and 2x3-275@8 2 min rest
High Handle Hex bar dead: 4x5-365@6 2 min rest
DB row: 4x12-65@7-9 1 min rest
Permit me a dad brag moment. My sons both play HS soccer (16 years old) and they connected last night. The older (by 1 hour) took a corner kick and connected with his brother who headed it home with some serious velocity. My younger son (who scored) is 6'1" tall and he out jumped a pair of 6'4" defenders to get that header and redirect it into the top right corner. Amazing play...best goal of the season. My younger son's first high school soccer goal (he plays center back and rarely gets to go up for corners). I'm still over the moon about that moment.
Have a great day and thanks for enduring my dad brag!

Re: Dean's lifting log
Friday 10/19
Bench: 6x7-225@6 2 min rest
Deadlift: 500 at 50 status: Green
5-435@7
Reverse Banded Deadlifts (heavy bands): 4-485@7, 5-485@8, 4-485@8 and 3-485@8 3 min rest
Superset hammer curl with overhead single arm dumb tricep ext:
HC: 3x12-35@7-8 super set with Tri: 3x12-30@8-9 2 min rest
Results were good, but I feel a bit like dog poop. Glad this one is over. That said, it is the weekend people...let's party! In teen dad terms, this means struggle to stay up until 10:30pm when the kids get home from the football game and then drag my sorry butt to bed.
Enjoy the weekend!
