Argue about chin position and the squat with Paul Horn: 1X1 ez
I don't see Paul here. Isn't he in Egypt? I wish someone would fix my grip.

Will Kong TM 2.0 get me a 440 bench?

He is an Egyptian...one of the pharoah's sons.
I cannot confirm or deny KTM2.0 will work for anyone but myself...but Tdood did deadlift 650 after following the program to the T, no modifications. He also squatted 520 earlier this year prior to an injury following it. The only example of bench gainzz are with me.

SQ: 495X2X5 PR..stepped backward on set 3 due to being on heels too much
BPp: 415X3X3..felt a little off but no doubt in each set---will adjust program for upcoming weeks to focus on set up.

No pump stuff today.

I'm happy with the way things are going. I'm pretty excited to hit doubles with 505 with squats in two weeks. Squat confidence is at an all time high right now. Just need to chill this week and get ready for heavy pulls on Friday.

A note on heavy pulls.

Tdood PR'd his deadlift at 650 lbs finishing the KTM cycle at 530X2X5. According to my plan, I'll be finishing at 535X2X5. Maybe I could get 650 too. It all depends on how the RPE goes. Also, I haven't paid my deadlift dues like T has. He has deadlifted 635 or more several times. I have yet to deadlift 630 with my best being 628 on a deadlift bar. We'll see, and I'll try to push myself a little harder at the meet. Hopefully, either NikT or DrJP can be there to get me riled up like T did at the Mid Atlantics.

I mean, it was damn near a true max out. I doubt I had 2.5kg more, and my grip started slipping. Def not guaranteed to be white lighted in competition. You could get it, but just take the PR, and the total if E1rms aren't right. I'll try to be at the meet for hype!

Its been a relatively "rough" week outside of the gym. Not really rough but a lot going on so my recovery hasn't been great. All week has been a fight to stay awake behind the wheel driving. I've been overcaffeinating. But it could be way worse. I'm lucky to have not been sick for months, and I'm glad my dad has been able to help us out with the kids this week with NJ public schools being closed this past Thursday and today. Part of my lack of sleep this week is not all apnea related but also when my dad comes over, I tend to stay up late hanging out with him and talking about stuff. So, what I'm really saying is, I'm not complaining. I got it good. I just didn't take care of my recovery this week and I felt a little more fatigued for this workout. #strengthdoesn'tcarelulz

DL: 495X1 525X2X5 PR...couldn't line up right at all tonight. Bar felt slightly off of shin. I'm used to solid contact. This felt hard but looked fine.
KP: 210X3 210X4X2 210X3...was getting vagal on those sets of three...should've been 4X4 but whatever, I'm not about to pass out with a bar over my head.
Banded Chins: only 1 set and my elbow said no---done with these for the rest of the cycle. They seem to be the trigger for this pain.
Banded Narrow Grip Pullups (NGPU's): 2 sets much better, almost no pain and better arch.
Banded Tricep Extensions: 3 sets
DB curls: 2 sets

Curls made the pain go away in the left elbow. I'm done with chins. They were fun while they lasted.

In other news, I finally got my script to get my CPAP machine. I will be setting up my consultation tomorrow and I look forward to changing my fucking life with this amazing nighttime breathing device.

That is great you have a solid relationship with your dad.

Was that a volume PR for deadlifts? Congrats!

It was a volume PR for deadlift using this program. I've done more on programs that didn't really work for me but this program really works well; so I can reliably expect some good gains at the end of it.

DL: 425X4X3ez
KP: 180X5X3ez
Banded NGPUs 1 long set...didn't count just stopped when I couldn't do anymore---had lat cramps during my post workout shower.
4 and a half weeks out. 6 more real workouts. 24 thriving workouts completed so far this cycle.

Probably the best cycle all year...No deaths in the family...No illnesses... Avoided dick burying... A little more volume overall...I better knock on wood!

This happened last fall too, and I broke 1600 last year. Fingers crossed for #seventeenhundred this year.

Yep Cody that's the stretch goal!

Well today was just a huge let down compared to how good I was feeling on Tuesday. It was probably due since I haven't had a rough one in this program yet. There's always gotta be the one that reminds you that you need to step up your game outside of the gym. That's what today was. My heavy single moved really slow and I knew after that it was going to be a harder than usual day.

SQ: 455X1 505X1 455X3X3 no energy
BPp: 365X4X2 mentally defeated.
Yolo BPlight touch, kinda paused but not really, definitely zero bounce: 365X8 because i didn't feel like doing 3 more sets of paused 3-4 reppers. Not bad for feeling like taking a nap.

Skipped the hodge circuit. Whined about my shitty workout. Took a shower. Ate. Now, I'm going to sleep. Good night.

Just get it together and sack up. You are almost there! The top single didn't move that slow.

Better to have the tough day now as opposed to one week out. You’ve got plenty of time to recover.

You are smart and beautiful and strong and handsome and swōl.
