Thor will crush Eddie.

I would pay $50 to watch that!

That was a very good lift for sure. Good idea to call it quits and not go for the 520kg today. I think that he should have gone 504-506kg as his record attempt, and he could have made those.

I think he is about a year out from hitting 520kg, unless everything stays locked down and he can dedicate more time to training it. I can only imagine his regular schedule with training for comps, traveling for comps, competing in comps, and doing appearances he can't train the deadlift as well as he has since the shut down.

That would be EPIC lol!
There is an episode of “Dark Side of the Ring” about the “Brawl for All.” I think it foreshadows how Eddie vs Thor would turn out.

Well Eddie just responded by posting a video talking about knocking Thor out and how Thor has badmouthed him and such.

Well, I was wrong by thinking he would be somewhat politically correct in his response to this, but has gone full Simple Jack on us.

Look I would love to see two big guys like this fight, but I'd actually want them to be trained fighters too. It would be a better fight for sure, and its just going to really end poorly (if it actually happens, which I think it won't)

Eddie grew up an English thug. I was stationed there when I was 18-20, and it was sport for the thugs to throw down every weekend. I think Eddie will ruin Thor. A couple months training, doesn’t make up for years of experience.

Hell of a feat to make it look that easy.

Eddie V. Thor is a work, no one can convince me otherwise.

Super happy for Thor and his crew...

I guess that's most likely the case, but the footage of either doesn't really let any of them shine. 8 1min rounds could be quite interesting though.

I wish this happens.

For sure dude this is a page right out of WWE or Conor Mc

Both Eddie and Thor are trying to get paid.

I think they will both fight their hardiest as neither wants to loose.

That was a great lift, congrats to Thor. I find it very entertaining how Eddie made this big deal about how he nearly died, how much the attempt took out of him, etc.
Meanwhile Thor just did his usual post-PR roar and then started calling Eddie out. No doctors, or bleeding or passing out.
Hopefully after this lockdown is done Thor can have another attempt, go for 510-520 in a full contest, just to solidify it, no controversy.

Sept 2021 in Las Vegas...

ALSO... Thor has either not been invited to or dropped out of WSM and has announced he's taking the next year and a half of training SOLELY to prepare for this fight...

Really!? Must be some child hood dream of his to be a boxer? Is this MMA or boxing?

As far as I know it's just boxing...

And I'm pretty sure it's motivated by his childhood dream of being loaded, because it's a seven figure payday for him.

I think his wife is pregnant, so he may not want to be 450lbs anymore.

Thor V Eddie is already stupid and I can't discern what is for promotion vs. if it's actually bad blood.

In a nutshell... somebody who may or may not be associated with Giants Live posted a 15 min "doc" about the 2017 controversy... it included a bunch of cleverly edited footage to make Thor look like a whiny brat. Eddie posted it all over his IG and Seb (Thor's coach) came out with a rebuttal and posted the actual ceremony footage. From what I read today Thor is pissed and has vowed never to compete for Giants Live again...

Nevermind the weird outrage he has at WSM organizers...

It seems like Thor has always had some passive-aggressive issues with Eddie, and Thor can no longer keep it in. Eddie is trolling the hell out of Thor now, and enjoying watching him fume.

They clearly don’t like each other but I think the whole thing is marginally more real than WWE.

Eddie is retired. Thor wants a break and might be seriously considering retiring. Seriously. He’s 460 lbs, half his face is dead, and he has a kid. I think he proved what he wanted to and is looking for some income sources. Eddie gave him one on a silver platter.

Fake or not I’m watching the hell out of it
