That's not even the Elephant bar but a Hummer Tire DL bar with thin comp plates.

And he's still peaking.

Eddie Hall is bitching already. Supposedly the elephant bar DL is just a gimmick and his DL-bar DL in a suit with straps is the real deal.

"It's a FACT that everyone instantly PR's the first time they deadlift an elephant bar!" -Eddie Hall

"I couldn't lift as much with the elphant bar in 2017 because it's much harder for me." -Also Eddie Hall (in the same video)

501 is his goal. It's awarded within the Rogue Record-Breakers events.

I know. The cash prize. I would like to watch the event but don't think i will be in Columbus on that day. And it will be super packed as well, probably just as well to watch it on youtube/facebook.

Last years Live coverage was great. Rogue really does well with these events.

Yep... Rogue's streaming is top notch... they even have cool little in between crap to fill some of the time between events...

And for what it's worth, I believe Thor's bar in that clip IS the elephant bar... he had Rogue make him a replica. I don't even know if that's the one he's had for while because at some point last year he actually broke a sleeve off if I remember right...

He had someone make longer sleeves and put them on a standard power bar. With the collars positioned to mimic the Elephant bar with comp plates, the Rogue Elephant plates will stick out about 1' further on each side.

Brian Shaw trains on the hummer tire bar because rogue doesn't give them the E-bar.

Thor is posting training on youtube again.

The most recent vid shows him weighing in at 203.5kg.
That is mind boggling to me.

Insane isn't it. Definitely the next Shaw or Zavickas. Will dominate WSM and the Arnold Classic for years to come.

It's a phenomenal press!

What are those bands under his knees? I've seen them on weightlifters before

I liked how he warmed up to Lindsey after the first Vid.

It looked like it was going to be an awkward time at first.
