Subjectivity and Training

Below is attached a fun little project I worked on over the weekend. The paper is a philosophical approach to thinking about subjectivity and its relation to training. I spent a lot of my undergraduate time studying philosophy of mind so I felt I had a novel way of approaching some of the stuff we regularly talk about around these and other parts. It was a free hand write so if some parts don’t flow so well, or if it comes across as highly informal, it won’t hurt my feelings if you think those things. Anyways, if you haven’t done much reading in philosophy and philosophy of mind in particular, I think you’ll find some of the things discussed interesting—and to be honest, I never thought in my undergraduate career that I would one day be relating any of it to strength training of all things. So, at the very least, I hope it’s not a complete waste of anyone’s time.
