I also just blocked 12 or 15 accounts that were force posting to my feed w/o following (not that i wanted that either), and who had nothing to do with Exodus.

IG models, guys with cars and Raps....Cyrillic/non Modern Latin looking writing on several of them.

I don't think it's them. But you may know better.

I just realized these accounts actually forced me to follow them.
I blocked them, but noticed my following number was high, and when i looked, they were there.

No indicators of follows though.

I think if you set up 2 step authentication this might stop. It seems they are getting in by brute forcing or somehow getting your password. If you require a code to be entered that is sent via SMS to your phone they can't use your password in isolation.

I use my PC, but i'm just setting it as a private account now, and changing pass.

I am using Gramblr, because otherwise i wouldn't be able to post, since i only have a PC.
I just stay on top of it, and block accounts that force a follow.
it's not a daily thing, or even an every week thing.

I did have to change my password once, because i was getting a shitton of forced follows.
I was lazy, and merely added a couple of characters to my actual IG password to use as my Gramblr one.
I've never used any of the "get more followers" things. That is most certainly not my style of using social media.

But it may be Gramblr.
It's working fine for me though.
