Skipped deadlift day because I twisted my knee slipping on the ice walking down the road to the mail box sunday evening.
Knee is still sore, so I did another press day.

19.12.2017

OHP:
20 kg x 5 x 5
30 x 5
40 x 3
48.5 x 1
54 kg x 8 x 3

CGBP:
20 kg x 5 x 2
40 x 5
55 x 5
71 kg x 6 x 6

Nice easy day.

Bugger. Hope it comes good quick! You can never have too many press days. Particularly when they're replacing deadlift days!

Squat:
20 kg x 5 x 5
50 x 5
75 x 3
100 x 1
125 kg x 5 x 3
This was all right today, my knee held up well.

2" deficit stiff leg deads:
50 kg x 5
75 x 3
100 x 1
120 kg x 5 x 3
This was all right too.

Knee is still "loose", and it is painful if I stretch the leg. But it held up good during the squatting, so I'll pretend everything is all right.

Odd how loading the knees heavily with a properly executed movement usually makes it feel better! Good it's holding up!

Very controlled movements loading the knees seems to work just fine for my knees.
Crap happens when I walk down icy roads in the freezing cold.

But hey, only four or five months of winter, and then spring time is here! :)

I was still running the pellet stove a little bit until July 6th last "summer".
To be fair though, the snow and ice were long gone by then.

Usually I change to summer tires in the beginning of May.
Last year I waited a bit, for no reason.
We had the last winter storm of the year on the eleventh of May.

Must be the global warming, right? :)

23.12.2017

Bench day.

Bench:
20 kg x 5 x 5
40 x 5
55 x 3
69 x 1
82 x 1
91 kg x 5 x 3

Close grip bench:
73 kg x 8 x 4

Overhead press:
20 kg x 5 x 2
30 x 5
40 x 3
50 kg x 8 x 4

Then we were supposed to do a bunch of curls. How about some music instead.

Just opened a beer, life isn't so bad.

28.12.2017

Deads:
20 kg x 5 x 2
50 x 5
75 x 3
100 x 1
120 x 1
140 x 1
152.5 kg x 5 x 3
Hook grip on the first set, straps on the second and third set.

Paused squats, two seconds pause:
20 kg x 5 x 2
50 x 5

90 x 5
110 kg x 5 x 2
Decided to not increase the weight on the bar after 110 kg, but do another 110 kg set instead.

02.01.2018

Squat:
20 kg x 5 x 5
50 x 5
75 x 3
100 x 1
122 x 1
135 x 1
150 kg x 1
144.5 x 2 x 2
Not to bad.
Didn't go for a squat PR, but 150 kg is still the heaviest I've done since my hamstring problems.

SGDL:
50 kg x 5
75 x 3
100 x 1
122 kg x 8
110 kg x 8
Cardio.

Rows:
70 kg x 8 x 5
