As I recall, not every lifts specifically in a garage.
Fill this thread with some nice POV stuff.

can I upload an image here or do I need to have it on the internet already?
I don't even know how to ask this question.
I have a cheap rack I bought on amazon for like $300 shipped, an Ohio power bar, about 750lbs in weights and a shitty flat bench. Does the trick. Total cost was about $900.

Where the magic happens (mostly browsing on my phone between sets):
Bars: Ohio Power Bar, B&R v1.0, Black Widow SSB, 15-lb aluminum technique bar, a couple of cheap bent bars for rack pulls
Plates: mostly Troy Premium (calibrated within 2% of stated weight), also some Rogue Echo bumpers
Rack: Rogue R-3BT (30")
Bench: Rogue utility bench
Other stuff:
Rogue full deadlift jack plus a half jack (also a Dead Wedge)
~100# of chain
Bands
Slingshot
Spud, Inc monster strap
DB handles
Airdyne

Manveer, you need an adjustable bench and viking press attachment. Trust me.

Adjustable bench I agree. Don't want something too heavy like the Legend because my wife wouldn't be able to move it on/off the platform.
What do I need the viking press attachment for?

The Rep Fitness FID bench is great for incline work. I wouldn't recommend if for a do-everything-bench (seat shape and gap), but for incline work it's awesome.
I mean that looks cool, but I don't think I'll ever be doing that.

Is the AB-3100 the new one? It looks good. $179 is cheap too.

Here's my set up.
R3 rack, mixed plates, plywood/stall mat platform.
I'd really like to redo the platform with the entire surface being stall mats. I don't do any olympic lifting and the plywood gets pretty slick.
Rogue flat bench with feet wrapped in Coban so it doesn't slip all over the plywood platform
Super sweet sound system with phone docking station (aka an outlet)
Crappy chrome bar, B&R, and ez curl
DIY plyo box (aka storage unit), pulling blocks, deadlift jack, curl rack that unfolds and locks into joist brackets on the wall
Assorted bumper plates, wife's wall ball, son's barbell (dowel with stall mat plates)
DIY dry erase PR board (sheet of glass painted white on the back)
View from the weight room is my frog room. Because I keep frogs. Because I'm a nerd.
And all of you peeps with adjustable benches can kiss my rearendhole.

No tapatalk?
Wonder if I can hotlink a picture on that other thread.
Decided on osb/drillock for first layer of new home gym. Depending on my work schedule I'll pick up tonight.
Pictures to follow.

I have that same IKEA stool ! I stained it before assembling. Then years later got paint all over it when I painted house.
Painting house sucks. Anyone want to buy a paint shaver pro? I never want to use that fuckkng think again.

NIce plate storage. I also appreciate the homage to Scooby with the fish / frog tanks.

And my giant steel balls.
I should have shown the platform in more detail, but all the nonsense going on is underneath. Stupid floor slopes 2" down over 8' from right to left, and 2" down over 7' from back to front.

My gym has been through maaaaaany iterations and I've bought and sold tons of equipment (I don't have pictures of all the things I've bought/sold). I believe in the power of craigslist and gov't auctions.
Here's my first real gym. 12x14 space in the garage. Hammer Strength power rack and Texas Power Bar.
Then I opened it up to the full bay in the garage, 12x23. Added bumpers and a platform, etc.
This is basically what it looks like now, minus all the accessories and stuff. Nebula 3/4 rack and bench with mono lift hooks, Body Masters leg press, a lat pulldown, and boat loads of lifting belts.
