Bands, chains, wraps, straps, racks... are you sure this is training related?

I went a little crazy lately. Bought this Dynamic combo unit to replace my stand-alone GHD and RH:
Also picked up an Edge Fitness cambered spider bar and spotter arms, jcups, and another pullup bar crossmember for my Ultra Pro rack.
Wow!!!! That looks amazing!!!
About to Google the price. A little scared.

They're in the commercial/college market, so they don't list prices and you have to request a quote, and then you're usually shocked by the number they list. I'd guess this one is in the 4k range new. They used to have regular warehouse sales like Rogue's where stuff was ridiculously cheap (e.g. NIB eco bumpers for .50/pound), but haven't had one of those in several years. It sounds like flippers buy up most of their used/demo stuff now, which is a bummer for home gym people, but probably much easier for them to deal with.

Where do the flippers sell them? I'd be fine with a company that sold quality, refurbished, used, high-end gym equipment, but I've found no such company.

In the past when I've seen them pop up on marketplace/CL it's usually been Twin Cities area. I haven't seen anything recently, though.

Am I miss-remembering or was the Rogue Echo in the high $700s in the not distant past?

It was, sometime within the last two years. I remember giving it some thought.

Fuck it. Bought one. I had $450 in gift cards from work so it came to $450 after taxes. I'll sell my Airdyne and recoup a little more of that.

I sold one, used last year, for $500. There was a line of people with cash in hand. I got it as part of a package - I bought most of some guys stuff, he was moving long distance and needed to sell. I kept the bars and bumpers and some other miscellaneous stuff. I used the thing for 5 or 6 months first though. I didn't actually like it. I prefer a treadmill or stationary bike. I just didn't get the thrill other than the breeze being nice.

I train out of my parents garage, how hard would it be to DIY insulation for the entire area? It's always either way too hot or cold in there. There is a big ass converted room in the middle of the garage so I cannot get to one of the walls. I figured I could save up some money and do it for $800ish give or take, but not sure it's all that worth it considering it's not *that* bad given the weather here. I'm retarded, so it seems like a big undertaking for someone with zero experience doing this sort of thing

I put up insulation on most of the ceiling in my garage, and it made a pretty big difference.
Echo arrived on Saturday. 2 days after ordering.

I can hit 1,200, I bet, considering I hit that after 8 sprints. Took a few to figure out how to get a good crank going.
I took a pic, but I can't share it on Instagram until my wife notices I bought the thing and I don't want to tip my hand.

Sorry, never saw it. Overall, pretty nice. Foot print is great, its solid, adjustable seat and chest pad. Only complaint is te articulating handles could be better.

You mean that old bike thing? You’ve had that forever, I can’t believe you’re just now using it.
