Not very long, maybe a week or two. My secret is either fat free chocolate milk or gatorade about 1/2 hour before I start warming up. The other thing I do that might be different then some people is if I am rushed for time I will use lighter weights and less rest time. Not doing this currently but in the past if for example I was supposed to CGBP 3x8 @ 225 for backoff work, maybe I do 205 but 90 sec rests.
The home gym is cool but it can start to feel like a grind.
