Re: What did you eat for breakfast today?
I'm so lazy in the mornin' and usually don't like eating right away either. After getting the kids' breakfast together I usually slam 5g of creatine with water and then 36g of whey in water.
Today we had an early dr's appointment for our daughter so it was 2 greek yogurt cups (14g protein) and about 400ml of whole milk with Java syrup... lmao.

Crazy indeed.
I “try” to eat mostly “single-ingredient” foods. But lately my post workout meal/treat has been delicious cereal.
That said, today’s breakfast was 2 sausage McMuffin with egg meals.

Re: What did you eat for breakfast today?
Been skipping my veggies lately, so...
2 cups (72g) red chard, 1 OZ broccoli, 46 grams plain whey isolate, 1/4 cup whole milk greek yogurt, 1/2 avocado, 2Tbsp "peanuts and salt only" PB In a blender. Fuck it.
1/4 cup whole milk cottage cheese not in the blender.

Re: What did you eat for breakfast today?
On a diet and counting macros now, so have the same tuna-champignon-omelette breakfast everyday for simplicity.
- 3 Wasa crispbreads
- 2 eggs
- 1 can a tuna
- 1 big champignon
- 3-10 g cooking fat (I feel like such a weirdo weighing the pan and counting the difference, flat mates think I'm a crazy when they see this. Not sure if some heuristic could replace this, the discrepancies of fat calories here could be significant I believe).

Well yeah. I mean if you’re gonna weigh anything, you gotta weigh the fat; at 9kc/g the margin for error is a lot smaller. Hell I even still weigh the lettuce, rocket, tomato and cucumber I have in my lunchtime salads. I know it makes SFA difference in the grand scheme of things, but I do it anyway.
Does sound nice.

I just utilize a +20 to 50 kcal rule for stuff like that based on earlier experiences. Used to weigh soy and sriracha sauce, now I just don't count it.

Hi, my name is Ben and I am a compulsive food weigher. I don't weigh mustard, soy or sriracha but I have done in the past.perman wrote: ↑Mon Nov 20, 2017 1:04 pmI have mixture of admiration and scorn for you.BenM wrote: ↑Mon Nov 20, 2017 12:48 am Well yeah. Semi on topic - I had breakfast yesterday (Weet Bix, no fat milk, greek yoghurt and strawberries + coffee). Plus some chicken breast slices for extra protein! First time in a couple of weeks.
I like doing the 16:8 IF, but now I'm moving calories up and getting back towards maintenance/gaining I want to really try and take advantage of the anabolic window wherever possible, so my plan is to do IF on training days (when I train in the evenings), that way food intake/carbs is more clustered around the lifting, but eat breakfast the day after training (~12 hours after lifting) to keep the protein levels up.
It's probably going to make a miniscule difference in the scheme of things but we'll see. I'm more concerned with how doing it intermittently will go in terms of hunger. Today (training tonight, so I skipped breakfast) was harder than it was previously.
