@JohnHelton, I think it’s both. It looks like the culture he’s created within his team is good, he generally makes good game day calls, and his programming is clearly working (and it looks to be pretty simple). My hat is off to the man.

It's nice to have PL back again, even if the coverage was a little poor.

That was a complete bitch move by Sean tbh. This guy says he tore his hamstring on a squat warmup, "tore it more every attempt," then proceeded to be totally fine running back and forth to change his shoes 3 times between bench attempts. He knew everything was falling apart and wanted to save face.413x wrote: ↑Fri Jun 18, 2021 7:05 am
Yeah I didn't actually expect Noriega to beat Orhii, but I was hoping for it to be close, I think he tore his hamstring or something. What makes Atwood's proximity to Orhii all the more insane is that Orhii had a PR meet w/ a record 712lb squat. I don't think Noriega could have beat that, but he was the only 83 w/ a good chance.

Atwood's Instagram story says he just hit a 474lbs BP in the gym.

Re: USAPL RAW NATS
I made the mistake of using the fat pad in training and then failed my second bench attempt at a weight that moved well on the fat pad. That said, 474 is no joke.ChrisMcCarthy1979 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 22, 2021 11:58 amOn a Bounce Pad Bench from memory, no? Hell of a Lift anyways!
