Mix PB with bananas. Dangerously habit forming.

PB with apples is also a good snack. I keep both in my office. :)

JIF Natural... my weakness and probably why I still have love handles...

Make a bowl of cream of wheat, stir in a big scoop of JIF, slice banana on top, apply maple syrup... get fat.

I'm eating oatmeal with natural peanut butter (and 10 other things) right now. Yum.

not a brand but how about sandwich recipe? Peanut butter and chocolate frosting with banana slices and sharp cheddar cheese? That's my go to "1000 calories of carbs while backpacking" recipe.
I'm not sure if that fits in with sandwich spec 2.0 though

whatever pops up when i order groceries for natural peanut butter.

Though i used to like the grind yourself stuff from the hippy store. No oil to stir!

I used to eat this sandwich very often:

wheat bread
crunchy peanut butter
cheddar cheese (sliced thick)
mayonaise
regular yellow mustard

The combo of sweet/sour/salty/umami is what makes it good. Pretty greasy though -- lotta calories here.

Ooh that's tasty, except I can't mayo very good. Can I sub it out for pendlay guacamoles?

Don't you want more fat calories for hiking? And peanut butter + cheddar is awesome, though both are mostly fat.

It's hard to physically swallow w/o the mayo -- you need something slippery to overcome the stickiness of the peanut butter and the drying effect of the bread and cheese.

Guac might work fine.

FTFY

I'm really excited about the mustard aspect though.
Really excited. I'm on a diet cut now, did I mention that?

I never understood the peanut butter meme of fitness culture.

Then I started an aggressive cut with macro counting. Creamy, salty, fatty, sweet... So many macros. So delicious when you've been eating oatmeal and chicken and vegetables for longer than you can count.

Now I get it.

First person to make me not want to eat something peanut butter related... you win.

Had a burger last night with thick cut bacon, fried egg, and peanut butter. It was good.

JIF with the brown lid. Which, annoyingly, you can't get in 5 lb jars.

I just like regular old Skippy. Crunchy or creamy, doesn't matter. Natural peanut butters are just a completely different animal. I use them for cooking and stuff, but if I want to eat peanut butter, I get the stuff people sneer at. I like the way it tastes. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It's a famous little shop in NYC. Greenwich Village. All the flavors are great, but I'm a big fan of Cinnamon & Raisin. Very addictive. I would argue it is a step above all the brands listed so far. You can order online but your local grocery store should have it. I've seen it at Walmart, Whole Foods, Jewel, Harris Teeter, etc.
