yesterday - rest day
trying to replace sitting on the couch binge-moping with old person exercise:
30 minutes incline walk @2.5 while watching some BS third rate Vin Diesel movie

Today
w2d1
--Lunch--
Deadlift, 2 min rest
425x1@ bar slowed down @8?
380x3x2 straps
335x5 straps
SGDL
225x8 @stopped due to being winded. Also these are light enough to have maybe dangerously bad form.
Gonna add weight next week and chase a very soft 8rm

--Post-work--
Bench
185x5x10 in 16:45 add weight here
aaaaalso, I think I need to break out the camera and look at my bench form. I think my touch point has drifted and maybe its whats causing me shoulder grief?

RFESS, 2 min rest
+25x12
+35x10
+40x10 doing these one hand holding a dumbbell and one hand helping balance. Planning on a pivot/calistethenics break where I do a bunch of single leg balance stuff. re-aggravate lower leg tendon stuff.

superset w/
TB row, 2 min rest
170x8x3
170 is heavy in my head, and I'm doing these explosively (aka cheating?)
Gonna try to really slow down the reps, even if I have to drop down to 6s and work back up

--Post kidbed--
30 minutes @2.5 inclinestaggermill
iphone says the max incline grade is 6%. Boooooring.

w2d3

—lunch—
Bench, 2 min rest
245x1@7.5 wrist wraps
220x3x3
195x5x2 no wraps
CGBP
155x12 should have tried for more

LBBS
(135,175,205,235,265)x5
295x4 took 3 mins rest before this. Could have gotten 5 if I had more time, but I literally racked the bar and then started my 2nd grade class.
Gonna shoot for 305x3 and cycle up

—post-work—
TB row
170x6x3 slooow concentric

Superset w/
RDL
5x10,6,10
6 was grip failure. Straps on out. Gonna add weight next week
5-7ish min rest, then
Easy jog
.6 miles in 7:16
Cool
Also to add: I’m remembering that 2021 is a focus on weight loss/conditioning. Weight loss isn’t going so well, but I’m bumping up my conditioning time.

The trouble with Letterkenny is how crazy fast they talk, mostly using jargon I've never heard. The second time watching that series was funnier than the first. Tip of the hat to you for listening to it while drink-cleaning.

@broseph I definitely spent a minute with a letterkenny glossary, especially with the hockey stuff. Also had the closed captions on - what I’m saying is I could have cleaned more...

New shoes were messing with my foot. I think I just need to break them in more? Ended up burning a minute walk break to switch back to my old ones a mile in. I was starting to feel the old left foot pinky pain. Pain went away almost immediately with old shoes

Old shoes - Saucony Cohesion 13 these were good straight out of the box
New Shoes - Saucony Cohesion 12 (old stock) wtf!
