No embedded IG on tablet

Embedded Instagram posts don’t appear when browsing on iPad (iOS 11.2.6), just a big blank space.

I’m probably doing something wrong, but thought I’d ask.

This was happening on my iphone yesterday. Might be a Safari thing? It worked before and I haven't done any recent updates though.

EDIT: Just checked on my phone, blank space in Safari but works in Chrome. WTF Safari?

I get that on my work computer but I assume it's because IG is blocked. Otherwise, it might be the old version of IE we have.

I have noticed since I originally posted in this thread that the IG embedding issue seems to be intermittent. Sometimes it works on my phone in Safari, sometimes it doesn't. I haven't noticed a pattern either.

It always works on my iPhone, and never works on my iPad. Using Safari for both.

This also allowed my own youtube clips to embed.

*This seems to be hit and miss still.
Tried posting a YT of a lift later, and only the text link showed.
Had my default set to embed, but i'll check to see if that somehow reverted.
