hauling ass today...tired as shit so I genuinely surprised I kept this up for that long. I feel like I just got hit by a car. lmao
Something annoying about road running is that you have to be really careful not to trip on the sidewalk cracks and shit when you're going at or above 8:00 minute per mile pace

Weighed myself this morning and the morning before and apparently I'm 158lbs now. Either I'm doing or some weird shit happens where you lose no weight for weeks until suddenly dropping a few pounds or I'm Dying

Re: Fuck The World Log
Was likely going to run like a 21:30~ 5k today but my phone fucking died right before the third mile GOD FUCKING DAMNIT AAAA
Splits were 6:30, 6:50 and I was running at 7:00 pace right at around 2.8 miles in so now I have no FUCKING idea how fast I finished.
I mean I gave it my all which is what counts...Keeping a 7 minute pace is no longer as horrific as it was the first time I did it

Re: Fuck The World Log
I want to lose another ten lbs (I'm starting to pudge up again despite all the running) but my living situation makes it hard as fuck to eat healthy these days. The only time I get good food is at my university's cafeteria and I tend to binge eat there since I know I'm not going to get a chance to cook or eat anything that isn't processed for the rest of the day in most cases. Just need to go from 165lbs -> 155lbs and I should get a lot fucking faster...

Re: Fuck The World Log
You getting faster is a semi scary thought. You're already pretty quick. Go for it.

Re: Fuck The World Log
It's been hard training lately. The fees for the SF Marathon are expensive as hell and I haven't signed up yet and I'm just crushed with life stuff. My older brother is moving out of the house and it's hitting me super hard, a lot harder than I thought it would. We have had a complicated relationship that has deteriorated a lot in the last few years and I'm genuinely going to miss him. I doubt I'll see him very much if at all anymore just due to how my family is. And then I graduate with a degree in Computer Science in just two more semesters at the ripe old age of 29.
It's all just happened so fast. Anyone who reads this crap probably can tell my life has been painful but I remember shitposting all over After Your Fahves when I was 21 and then suddenly I'm nearly 30 and now obsessed with running instead. It's hard to take. Running offers a better escape than lifting did but I'm really starting to internalize that I need to put the same energy I did into lifting weights and running into becoming a mentally healthier person but I feel so unequipped to do that.
It's hard. I haven't even been recovering properly lately due to the stress, I had to take a week off because my legs were just fried. When I tried to run my last six miler I could just tell it wasn't going to happen.
All I can say is: anyone who reads this should also take care of themselves. Life is hard.
