Notes: After 3+ months of conjugate style programming, at least the way I implemented it, I think I can say that it has not worked very well for Benching, but it has worked well for both lower body lifts. Second cycle through upper body, and second cycle the top bench set went backwards. No big deal. I have enjoyed the variety, and simply doing something different, but if increasing 1RM for Bench is the goal, this probably isn’t the way to do it for me. Did the backdown work with a very current and accurate 65% 1RM. Will probably go back to some HVLF stuff for Bench for a while.
