I'd say $250-300 would be fair. Given the cash flow struggles of a lot of gyms, you might be able to get a better deal by getting credit used towards your membership fee. That's what I did a few years ago when I liquidated my home gym. My gym offered either $200 cash for my bare steel B&R or $250 in credit.

Thanks! I searched Craigslist a little and people are still asking basically MSRP. A client tried to give me a "bunch" of extra plates he had because he doesn't use them. I argued him down to a 2 45 bumper Pendlay bumper plates (I think, have not seen yet). I have no need for the extra plates (and told him so), but now I regret this.
