Bands, chains, wraps, straps, racks... are you sure this is training related?

FexEx in general isn't that reliable. This month I had something shipped from Texas to NJ.

It worked its way north until it landed in eastern Pennsylvania and was about 100 miles from my house. From there it went back down to South Carolina, then Georgia, then North Carolina, and finally back to NJ.

I was impressed when my cameras caught my FedEx bro hoisting the 2 85# dumbbells (boxes long since destroyed if they ever had any to begin with) I ordered out of the back of the truck and farmer carrying them to my porch like they were nothing (even set them down nice and gently). Didn't look like his first rodeo, and if I'd been home at the time I'd have asked if he wanted to do some strongman training sometime.

Now if I could just find some @#%@##$! 95s for a reasonable price.

I'm so so tempted by American Barbell 15% off to get the super nice SS bearing bar... But then get Rogue SS bar is still $100 cheaper even not on sale...

Stupid choices...

https://yorkbarbell.com/product/pro-hex-dumbbell-rack/ for $232
vs.
https://yorkbarbell.com/product/york-2- ... ell-stand/ for $115?

What am I missing?
The Pro is 80# and the cheap one is 50#. Guessing you don't want to load up a 55-100 set on the cheaper one.

I hear you. I own two AB bars. They are beautiful (and quiet!), but have no practical advantage. Hey, everybody has a Rogue, just like everybody has a Rolex. If you're going to splurge, buy an Omega to be different.

The Titan series racks are $150 off if you want to step up to 3x3 world and use Monster accessories.

In the end, it turned out the difference was more like $50 since AB doesn't charge sales tax but Rogue does- so I went with the AB. Can't wait for it to arrive! Right in the for the "bar is so cold I wonder if chalk is a good insulator" season...I really don't love aggressive knurls so I think I'll like it.

I've never had a problem with AB's so-called "mild" or "passive" knurling. A better description is "finer." More contact points per equivalent square area than "aggressive" knurling.

3 of my 4 DBs have arrived. The one that went across the country was no longer in a box.
