*yawn*
So much drama. Can't he just retire on the income from his wife's business?

I daresay he's already living off her income, I don't see how he could subsidise PA and his lawyers on the income from coaching and whatever else he does.

PA is now no longer recognized by Sport Australia. They aren't on the Sport Australia register of recognized sports.... although the SA logo has not been removed from the PA website as yet.
APU is also not recognized. One of the provisions is 3 years of independly audited financials so I can't see much happening on this front for a while.

and so we are one step closer to having some closure here. Now we just need the judge throw out the litigation Wilks is brining against the APU pres and then we can just forget about PA.Hawkpeter wrote: ↑Sun Sep 15, 2019 12:28 am PA is now no longer recognized by Sport Australia. Now this
From my perspective Wilks has done little good for the sport in Australia, and plenty of harm. Just an all round a-hole.
First I've heard of him being a real scumbag in that article, but doesn't surprise me.
Hopefully he fucks off for good.

If it was, what the fuck were people doing staying silent about it, let alone supporting him? This reflects very poorly on anyone that was still associated with PA.ChrisMcCarthy1979 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 08, 2021 2:40 am This was all fairly well known / suspected to have been going on for years, wasn't it??
Unfortunately it's probably little more than a smoke screen. The way it's incorporated (poorly I might add) Wilks owns the rights to everything. "CEO" or not, he still owns everything. Can't boot someone from a company they wholly own.

Um...Money? Patronage? I quite agree...mind you I wasn't 100% sure it was him I'd heard those particular rumours about, given the nature of his Wife's work I wasn't sure I hadn't gotten the wrong end of the stick at some point.

Sorry if I was unintentionally opaque - yes, I was referring to the Brothel-keeping.

Re: IPF and Robert Wilks
PA lifters can be a funny bunch in my experience. Definitely different to PLers in any other fed that I've met. Anyone here who is a PA lifter I'm sorry and I probably haven't met you so obviously maybe that doesn't apply to you.OCG wrote: ↑Mon Aug 09, 2021 6:50 amIf it was, what the fuck were people doing staying silent about it, let alone supporting him? When I started competing I looked at the different feds and even the PA website turned me off. Got a really superior, condescending and controlling vibe so I decided to have nothing to do with it. It made sense the more I learned about Wilks.

Re: IPF and Robert Wilks
I just wanted to point this out in case someone missed it:
So he, as a 67 year old in a position of power, admits he was in a relationship with a 22 year old living away from home?Mr Wilks claims that he was in an intimate relationship with Ms Qu that he ended before she sent the email and text messages.

That kangaroo's squat form is awful, look at the angle of the feet. Totally NDTFP.

Re: IPF and Robert Wilks
Uhh, turns out Michelle Siu Pik Chan, Wilk's wife, not only owns a brothel, but is also a "migration agent". (https://ozmigrationagents.com/michelle-siu-pik-chan/)
Owning a brothel, fine whatever, people can do what they want to do. Working as a migration agent and owning a brothel? That gets super sketchy super fast and raises concerns of trafficking.
