Savage. The way I like it.
That is definitely bad ass! Were there any red faces when they saw it?

No, not really. I've met all the SSC who were at the Oakland meet before; they are all quite nice people. I definitely wouldn't want to say "fite me bro 1v1 IRL" to any of them. Some knew I'd been #band, but others (like Tom C, Paul) didn't know I'd been. I was primarily wearing the t-shirt to promote our forum, not to stir up bad feelings. The other reason I was wearing it was because I did the logo and I am proud of it

Some people may not feel the same way, but I genuinely want this to be a place where we can talk about lifting and getting stronger, with enthusiastic debate and thoughtful discussions encouraged. One of my favorite things to do is to hang out at the gym, lift and chat with my friends-- I'd love it if this place continues to stay a cool place to "lift with" and electronically hang out with people I like.

Agreed, and you did an awesome job with the logo, it looks great! Is there some way to put it up at the top of the forum instead of the plain text that's there now?

Hanging around "no skating" signs for too long, with a resting satirical face?

T-shirt pricing update

#69

Post by chromoly » Tue Oct 31, 2017 10:51 am

I made the executive "I'm in charge of t-shirts" decision to price two t-shirts for $35 USD including domestic shipping. International shipping for more than one shirt depends on the country.

Re: shirt sizing:

I got a "large" and it's a bit tight, especially in the sleeves. Length is fine.
I am 5'10" 190 lbs, male.

If you are about my size and want to show off your biceps, Large is the right size. But XL would be a bit more comfy.

It's a handsome shirt, I like it. My 17yo son will surely be "borrowing" it next time the laundry gets sorted, and I'll never see it again.

Yes. I am taking pre-orders for t-shirts until November 10th, see here. Any shirts that people are wearing around now are because they either paid for one as part of a test print run, or donated $23984723947324 to ES were exceptionally generous donors and we wanted to give them a shirt from test print as a thanks.

Oh I missed the donations. I would have happily chipped in a few monopoly dollars (Canadian $ is still real money).

Totally digging the merch. Nice logo. I've been looking for a nice lifting shirt.

Something I could ask in the PM, but thought it might be useful to have as public info:

Can I order women's sizing? Or is it unisex/men size only?

At the moment, only unisex (men's) sizes. Maybe eventually, if we get enough demand for women's shirts, but personally I hate the way they fit and how the sleeves are designed.

Gilchrest wants to make Exodus Strength booty shorts though, stay tuned for those... As winter approaches, I've been thinking about hoodies too. 🤔

I'm down for some booty shorts. Gotta show off those hard earned quads somehow.
