Request: Auto-subscribe to threads you reply to

I'd like to have the option to auto subscribe to threads you reply to (or start).

This is a pretty common feature on other boards I frequent. On those, it would be an option in the control panel that you could turn on.

User control panel->board preferences->edit posting defaults->notify me upon replies by default

No, not quite. I don't really want notifications for it. In other forums, I like using the subscribe feature, which gives me a list of threads I've replied to, or want to follow (by clicking a quick link to "Subscribed Threads").

For example, if you go to BBM forums, they have in the user settings > notifications: "Automatic Subscriptions. Subscribe when posting. When you create or participate in a topic, you will automatically be subscribed to it"

Right at the top of the forum page, there's a button for "My Subscriptions".

I just click "Quick links" and then "Your posts". Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but that seems to do it.
