It's a great video. It really explains my problems with dieting, cause even in the past when I dieting without explicit diet breaks, the process just naturally stopped at some point every time anyways.
Reaching a stable lower body weight will take time whether you program for it or not.

I liked another vid on that channel as well, where he talks about diet program vs. training programs.
Basically he recommends volume/hypertrophy training when cutting OR bulking. Maintenance diet is OK too, but non-optimal.
For taper/strength training, he recommends maintenance only, as you'll lose muscle on a cut or gain mostly fat on a bulk diet. Besides, the goal of a taper is to dial in 1RM technique, and bw changes will perturb technique.

Damn! @3:40 is the recipe for an archetypal fatfucking, eat through the sticking points [edit: add starts here] while 'peaking' etc.cwd wrote: ↑Wed Jun 27, 2018 6:47 am I liked another vid on that channel as well, where he talks about diet program vs. training programs.

I wonder how this would apply using the HPS setup; probably best on maintenance or small surplus for a pro-hypertrophy effect?
